Step 6: Add AdSense to Blog

Log into your AdSense account and click “AdSense Setup”


Then click “AdSense for Content”


 Choose “Ad Unit”, select “Text ads only” and “Continue”


Under “Format” choose “336 x 280 Large Rectangle”


Under “Colors” choose “Default Google palette”

Leave the other options as they are and click “Continue”

Click “Add new channel” and type the name of your blog
Then click “OK” and “Continue”






Click “Submit and Get Code”

Right click on the AdSense and select “Copy”


Now go back to your blog and click “Layout”


Under Layout click “Edit HTML”

Under “Edit Template check “Expand Widget Templates”












Use your browser to search for the code “post.body”



Roght click and paste between the code:
<div class='post-body entry-content'> paste here
<data:post.body/>

Then type <p/> before and after the AdSense code


Click “Save Template”

Click “View Blog”
Congratulations! You have added AdSenseto your blog.
Now you will need to wait up to one half hour for it to display

•You will see all kinds of placements and sizes of Google AdSense on other blogs on the Internet.
•However, the “336 x 280 Large Rectangle” placed directly above the blog post has been proven to provide the most amount of clicks and AdSense earnings.
