Step 7: Add Google Analytics

Go to: http://www.google.com/analytics click “Access Analytics”

Google Analytics tells you everything about who visits
your blog and what they read when browsing your
blog. For instance, these are some of the statistics:
1.How many people came directly to your blog by typing the address into the browser.
2.How many people came to your blog by following a link from another Website or blog.
3.The number of visitors who found your blog through a search engine and what keywords they were searching with.
4.What blog posts did people read on your site.

Log in with your Google account email and password

Click “Sign Up” for Google Analytics

Add your “Website’s URL”
This is the URL you entered with Blogger in step 2.

Enter the name of your blog for Account Name
Set your time zone and click “Continue”

Enter your name, phone number and country. Then click “Continue”

 Check of “Yes, I agree to the above terms”
Click “Create New Account”

Right click in the box and copy the tracking code

Now go back to your blog and click “Layout”

Under Layout click “Edit HTML”

Scroll to the bottom of “Edit Template”,
Put cursor above the </body> tag, right click and select “paste”

Now your Google Anayltics tracking code should be pasted into your blog’s HTML template. Click “Save Template”.
